R.C. Roberts founded Roberts Resorts & Communities in 1968 and his high standards, dedication to professionalism and long-term relationships with every resident along with genuine hospitality were among his most notable business ethics. Scott Roberts carries on this tradition and spirit of his father stating it is \u201cimportant that the following generations fulfill the legacy left by his father, R.C. Roberts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After his father\u2019s passing in 1998 from a long battle with cancer, Scott and his siblings took over Roberts Resorts & Communities believing \u201cthere is one thing that sets my family business apart from others in our industry, that is the ability to look at a manufactured home community opportunity with a unique perspective. Many of these communities had been overlooked by other investors because they suffered from low occupancies, were nearly empty and\/or losing money.\u201d Roberts goes on to say \u201cwith this in mind, we have a unique talent for raising occupancy and improving earning potential to make these struggling communities successful.\u201d This business model revolves around profiting from an underperforming asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
