Curious about bats? The Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge in downtown Austin houses the world’s largest urban population (@ 1.5 million) of Mexican free-tailed bats under their bridge. Nearly 100,000 spectators arrive each year to watch the bat’s daily emergence at sunset.
